- What exact job will it do, and how is that job done today?
- Does it finish the job, or hand you a draft to finish?
- Which of your systems can it read and act in?
- What does it cost at ten times today's volume?
- Who maintains it when the person who set it up leaves?
- How does it handle your data, and can you prove it to security?
- Is there a company behind it that will be here in two years?
Score each from 1 to 3. Anything under 14 is a toy for this job. Anything over 18 deserves a pilot.
